POLICY OF INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Akwawit-Brasco S.A. is a significant producer of agricultural ethyl alcohol, absolute ethanol including bio-ethanol, agricultural distillate, and bottled spirit beverages. What is more, Akwawit-Brasco S.A. is an owner of holding companies which run similar businesses on the market of bio-components ("Wratislavia-Bio" Sp. z o.o. – the producer of bio-esters), and also Eko-Brasco Sp. z o.o. enabling the conglomerate diversification: – on the market of rape seed and oil; and Centrum Konferencji i Rekreacji Sp. z o.o. – on the market of hotel, recreation, and conference services. The efficient Integrated Management System being in line with the standards below is a precondition to provide an opportunity for the business development and strategy implementation in dynamically changing environment (adaptation to market):

Our primary goal is to gain the customers’ satisfaction with the manufactured and sold products. Our success is measured by the generated profit, which allows us to stay on the market in the long term.

It is an important part of the strategy at Akwawit-Brasco S.A. Company to assure the high quality of the products and pay particular attention to environmental issues, elements which constitute an expression of social responsibility of this business activity. Inside the company we aim at integrating our activity and achieving synergy in the teamwork, self-improvement of the employees as well as of the company as an organisation; we also aim at showing respect to our work, ourselves and our customers.

Our goals:

Long-lasting competitive advantage in the field of bio-components and bio-fuels both through decreased costs (low-price business) as well as complementary market offer;

Development of products as well as markets for existing products both in Business-To-Business and Business-To-Client fields;
Integration of supplier-producer-consumer chain as a source of success in the long-term;
Pollution preventing and reduction of adverse impact on environment also by means of decreasing the use of natural resources through: waste segregation, limiting technological losses and the use of materials, energy, and water;
Occupational safety and health and pro-quality and pro-environmental behaviours in the team and the group of counterparties; occupational risk management.

Tools:

Analysis of product markets including the identification of the customers’ needs and the competitors’ actions; assessment of possible choices of strategic actions and of choice criteria for an optimal action; making strategic choices, execution and control of both the execution process and the assumptions made at the planning stage – as an algorithm of effective action.
Perfecting the organisation and management at the level of individual organisational units, corporations, and the group of companies;
Identification and meeting the standards provided for in legal regulations;
Continuous improvement of technological processes in regard to food safety;
Systematic improvement of the Employees’ awareness in the field of food safety, environment protection, and quality by means of appropriate trainings;
Determination of behaviour to prevent breakdowns and to provide effective repairs;
Trainings to improve the Employee’s qualifications;
Improvement of the Integrated Quality Management Systems in reference to the customers’ needs and the assessment of the company operational effectiveness.

Operational goals:

Implementation of solutions in reference to organisation and management and tools improving effectiveness of performance and allowing the measurement of the actions;
Integration of actions at the level of strategy (within the holding group), tactics (cooperation between the organisational units), and operation (cooperation, motivation, work division in organisational units).
