Bioethanol is an anhydrous ethyl alcohol made of material of agricultural origin. It is used in petrochemical industry as ecological biocomponent for engine fuels and ingredient in the production of ethyl tertiary buthyl ether (ETBE).

  The use of bioethanol in refining industry causes significant reduction of the emission of GHG (greenhouse gases). Significant increase in using renewable energy sources like bioethanol resources allows to reduce usage of limited crude oil. Thanks to its advantages, bioethanol may become one of the most important energy sources in the future.

  Our experience in the production of bioethanol dates as early as from 1950 – at that time we started the dehydration unit. The rapid development of bioethanol in Poland began in 1993.

  For several years we have been one of the biggest high-tech bioethanol producers in Poland with the output of more than one million hectolitres per year.
